I responded to an indeed job posting for a $12-15 per hour customer service representative. I was contacted via my cell phone. I asked if they were holding in person interviews and Davis Mark informed me that they were performing interviews either through google hangouts or skype. I then added him on skype and continued with the interview. He then asked for my full name and where I was located after sharing brief information on the company. Then he described the job as such, "This is an online/work from home job until your office is opened in a month’s time, the working hours are flexible and you can chose to work from anywhere of your choice, the pay is $45 per hour training is $21 per hour and you will be getting payment weekly via check or direct deposit working 30 to 40 hours weekly, if you are employed you are going to be working as a full employee and not an independent contractor." I inquired about the pay, but he ignored my question and continues to describe job details. Then he explained how he would ask a couple of interview questions to see if I qualify. He asked me a couple of questions regarding past employment and then from there he asked me if I would prefer weekly or bi-weekly pay and if I would like direct deposit. Then he asked, " What Bank Do you Operate with to see if it tallies with the company’s official salary payment account ?" I responded with my bank and he then told me he has to show my interview responses to his supervisor. Four minutes later he replied that I was offered the position and his superior would email me. I then informed him that I had one question in which he replied yes. I then said that the pay on the job listing was posed as $12-15 per hour. Why is the pay dramatically higher? He immediately removed me from skype and no superior has emailed me.
